As we move from the Autumn Equinox toward the Winter Solstice, nature invites us into a season of release, descent, rest, and transformation. On All Hallows’ Eve, we’ll turn toward ritual as a way of honouring this seasonal transition. In yoga practice, this time of year can offer an opportunity to slow down, reflect, and gently turn inward.
Join me for a special 90-minute gathering dedicated to welcoming the transition into winter through yoga, meditation, and ritual.
For this special 90-minute session, I’ll guide you through a practice designed to help you embody the transition into a new season and reflect on what that change means for you. We’ll begin with a short asana practice, focusing on fluid movement to awaken and balance our energy while preparing the body and mind for inward reflection.
We’ll begin with a gentle asana practice, using fluid movement to awaken the body, cultivate a sense of balance, and prepare for meditation. From there, we’ll move into a guided meditation and candlelight ritual, creating space to reflect, release, and make room for the season ahead. After the meditation, there will be time for quiet reflection and journaling. We’ll then close the practice by gathering together over herbal tea and nourishing treats—a chance to share, connect, and simply be together. Come as you are, and allow yourself the space to pause, reflect, and welcome the turning of the season.
